Qualifications
Every month you qualify for the Kasasa Cash rewards, you automatically qualify for the Saver rate. Simply do the following each qualification cycle:
- Have at least 12 debit card transactions post and clear
- Have at least 1 automatic payment or direct deposit post and clear
- Receive free paperless eStatements
If you don't meet the qualifications, don't worry. Your account is still free, and you'll still earn our base rate. Plus, you can get the Kasasa rate the very time you qualify!
* Minimum to open account is $200 for Kasasa Cash and $1 for Kasasa Saver. Members may only open one Kasasa Cash account per social security number. Annual Percentage Yield (APY) accurate as of 9/12/11. Kasasa Cash rate tiers are as follows: 3.00% APY applies to balances of $0 ‐ $10,000 and 0.50% APY applies to balances over $10,000 if qualifications are met during monthly qualification cycle. 0.05% APY applies to all balances if qualifications are not met. All balances will earn 0.50% APY – 3.00% APY if qualifications are met. The advertised Kasasa Cash APY is based on compounding interest. The interest earned in Kasasa Cash is automatically transferred to Kasasa Saver each statement cycle and compounds monthly. The actual interest paid may be less than the advertised APY. The Kasasa Saver APYs may be less than the Kasasa Cash APYs. Kasasa Saver rate tiers are as follows: 1.00% APY applies to balances of $0 - $10,000 and 0.50% APY applies to balances over $10,000 if qualifications are met during monthly qualification cycle on Kasasa Cash. 0.05% APY applies to all balances if qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash. All balances will earn 0.50% APY – 1.00% APY if qualifications are met on Kasasa Cash. Qualifying transactions must post and clear Kasasa Cash during monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from transaction date to post to an account. Intra‐bank transfers do not count as qualifying transactions. Rates may change after account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings. ATM Fee refunds (Kasasa Cash account only) up to $20 provided only if qualifications are met within monthly qualification cycle.
